Write For Us!

Our ultimate aim at Ramp.ie is to provide a damn good read (our penultimate aim is to move to Fiji and live on mojitos). If you’re a damn good writer, photographer, vlogger or cartoonist, and think Ramp.ie would make your perfect home-away-from-home, please do drop us a line telling us you think we’re hot and would like to come live in our commune. We don’t have a commune in a literal sense, but we are very into creative space and kinship. We know that without a team of clever and capable contributors, Ramp.ie will never get to Fiji, so we’d love to hear from you.

What We Want: Creativity, passion, talent and commitment. We’re happy for people to come to us with a proposal for a regular column, a desire to take on some reviewing duties, or simply a one-off article idea, whether it be a serious take on a current issue of import or a pointless Top Ten on a subject they know far too much about.

What We Got: A talented team of friendly, fervent folk who’ll give feedback, encouragement and opportunities to people wanting to join the team. While we’re not in a position (yet) to pay for submissions, we make up for it in creative support and associated cool points, and we always do our best to get behind whatever it is our contributors want to get out of Ramp.ie.

What To Do: Drop us a line at editor [at] ramp [dot] ie, with an outline of what you want to do and a couple of sample pieces. You don’t have to have experience, but if you do, we’d love to hear about it.
